- While it does less damage compared to an equal-ranked Grenade Launcher without an ability, the Shocker's grenades will also shock their target, stunning them and leaving them incapable of moving for a few seconds.
- Very effective against appropriately leveled Breakers as the explosive properties of the grenade will break their shell, and the Shock+ properties will freeze the now sprinting Tube in place.
- The GL-III "The Shocker" and the Shock Mine Layer share a slightly modified description.
