Tactical AppraisalEdit

The Honeychurch is a lightweight trench with a lot of utility - whilst it's not quite as offensively versatile as the Selker, it provides a big selection of turrets and has the ability to mount either two single-slot weapons or a single two-slot weapon, giving it higher concentrated damage at the cost of sustainability. It's perhaps a bit more versatile than the Selker for solo operations, since it can equip one of each type of emplacement (except support, which it carries 2 of ). One way to look at the Honeychurch is as the Hamer's smaller brother, trading Engineering efficiency, speed, and a light emplacement for the Hamer's heavier armor and extra weapon slot. The Honeychurch's ability to establish support and defense lines make it a critical component of base defense operations, though it has to choose its turrets very carefully dependign on the situation.

Make no mistake, however - though very tactically viable and critical for long-term operations, the Honeychurch is very vulnerable, has relatively poor firepower, and has difficulty dealing with foes that can fight their way past the defenses. Care and balance is needed to maximize the ability of the Honeychurch to whittle down the Tubes and the Honeychurch is at its best with backup. Solenoids and Cathodes are the bane of this little trench's existence, and Blitzers can inflict enormous damage to an unprepared Honeychurch, so beware.
